Trend Alert: Celeb Jewelry Shines On

Things haven’t changed much since we lusted after everything SJP and anything worn on Sex and the City. I still haven’t figured out when the paradigm shifted to Paris and Lindsey. Gone are the days of lucky horseshoes and nameplate necklaces (I still pull mine out on special occasions- there’s no law against it). Now we’re wearing skulls and various pointy objects around our necks. I don’t object to these new objects, I just wish I didn’t have to consider the source. But there are style icons out there that are saving us from starlet stereotypes. I’m jonesing for a genuine Jennifer Meyer leaf. But until I’m authentic, the $34.99 knockoff from Emitations is just fine.

From a SheFinds Reader: Nicole Richie wears a blue shark tooth necklace a lot. Is it expensive? Where can I get it?

Answer: I first noticed the horn necklace tren during New York Fashion Week last fall. You can get Nicole’s at for $160.00. Though I like the cheap thrill (12.99) at Emitations, a single horn.

The women of Desperate Housewives have bling to covet. Teri Hatcher has been seen wearing Di Modolo, “the hot new jewelry brand taking Hollywood by storm.” Get your DH inspired gems at
