I wasn’t a fan of the first LV Murakami collaboration – the bags just looked cheap and silly to me…kind of like Los Angeles (oops sorry Los Angelenos). However this time they’re taking a card from the Vegas slots and decorating the pricey bags with cherries.
From lvmh.com: “The creative partnership between Louis Vuitton and the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami blossoms once again with the new line Monogram Cerises, designed for the Spring-Summer 2005 show.
The cherry, fruit of an intense, bright and appetizing red, brightens up the Monogram canvas with communicative joy. This new pattern gives freshness and cheerfulness with all its different expressions: laughter, surprise and amazement!”
Of course you’ll probably have to win big at the slots to afford one…
