+ image = London Street Chic

Having recently arrived in New York from London, it strikes me how I suddenly miss the trademark mixing of prints and patterns that those fish-and-chips eating hipsters master so well. This season the mixing of stripes with bold colors beyond black and white has been hot on the streets of London. The one-style outfit does not exist, so if you are going for the updated sailor stripe chic happening right now, make sure to throw in something completely opposite such as a wide orange waist belt over your horizontal stripe teeicon.

I like to pair my brights and stripes with these super sexy R&R Ciggy Slim jeansjeans by Her Majesty Victoria Beckham, fashion queen of England. Get the Free People Stripe Hoody Dressicon dress in chartreuse. But if you do opt for ivory pick a bright pair of leggings or fabulously coloured booties. If you have to be all grown-up about it, take Charlize Theron’s style up an eye-catching notch with a pair of pumps from Two Lipsicon

Individuality is the key to Brit fashion. When everybody aims to look different from everybody else, the result is mix-matching at its best.

Wouldn’t Lindsey and Charlize look great with a spot of color besides their dye jobs?
