Four new styles from Vena Cava‘s Spring 2013 Viva Vena! line just hit Nordstrom, and if you’re a fan of the brand you should check them out – prices start at $68. The lower-priced line, “Marfa,” is named after a Texas town where the film Giant starring Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean was filmed in 1956. Vena Cava founders Lisa Mayock  and Sophie Buhai called Marfa a “dreamy location for a wedding” on their blog, although this collection seems more appropriate for the guest than the bride.

The company is no stranger to affordable fashions; their collaboration with Aqua, Bloomingdale’s juniors line, was hugely successful, and Viva Vena! has been around for a few seasons itself, with a 3-part summer collection already planned for later this year (see photos of Viva Cuba, Craft Lady and 70s New York here).
