For some bizarre reason, a friend of mine thought it would be a fun (aka cruel) exercise to tally how much I spend on hair products each month. Let’s just say, it’s more than I spend on groceries. But hear me out–I have delicate, curly hair and the wrong products might leave me bald!
With my outrageous spending on hair products in mind, I’ve been trying to incorporate more affordable products into my routine without sacrificing effectiveness or quality of ingredients. And I’ve had some success! One of my newest additions is Verb’s Curl Cream which is priced under $20. Get this: it’s only $16!
The first thing I do whenever I get a new hair product? Check the ingredients! I don’t use anything with silicones on my hair because they can block moisture from penetrating your strands. And as luck would have it, Verb’s Curl Cream is made without silicones. Instead, it’s formulated with good-for-hair ingredients like sunflower seed extract, olive oil and glycerin. Together, these ingredients smooth frizz, lock in moisture and protect your hair from environmental aggressors.
I’ve been using Verb’s Curl Cream for about a month now and I can’t tell you how happy I am to have a new go-to hair product that’s less than $20. Even better than the price? I don’t have to use a ton of product, so it’s lasted me a while! I usually just fill the center of my palm with the Curl Cream, rub it between my hands then finger comb it through my curls. When my hair air dries, the curls are defined, soft and bouncy–basically everything I want!
If you’re unfamiliar with Verb, all of their products are actually $16 (yes, really!). The Curl Cream is obviously my absolute fave, but you should definitely check out their full collection because who doesn’t want to save some money but still have beautiful hair?!
