VIDEO: How To Cover Undereye Circles Using Red Lipstick

The first thing I see every time I look in the mirror are my deep, dark undereye circles. I pretty much always get at least 8 hours of sleep, but no matter; I always wake up with the same dreaded indents under my eyes.

Recently, there was a video going around the Web of a woman using red lipstick to cover her undereye circles and given how much mine drive me batty, I decided to give the technique a whirl. #fail. Actually, MAJOR #fail. Rather than smooth, even skin, my eye area was even more noticeable than before.

It was clear I needed expert intervention, so I called up my friends at Jane Iredale who promptly dispatched Hannah Hatcher, my undereye circle fairy godmother. Not only did she manage to properly demonstrate the technique on me, but she gave me enough confidence to actually do it on the reg. Watch her work her magic in the video below:

Want to try this technique on yourself ASAP? Here are the products Hannah used:

Jane Iredale PureMoist Lipstick in Margi ($25)

Jane Iredale Enlighten Concealer ($29)

Jane Ireadale PurePressed® Base Mineral Foundation ($42)

Jane Iredale Hydration Spray ($29)
