Who doesn’t like a surprise? It’s especially entertaining when you get to watch the whole thing happen and that is exactly what took place last night during NBC‘s The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Because during this particular night, it wasn’t starring Jimmy Fallon.
Fallon was about to present his usual monologue as he always does when he started leaning on one side saying he thinks he pulled a hamstring, but how the show must go on. That’s when none other than Jay Leno strolls in and takes over the stage like he used to back in the day. Leno presented a monologue he prepared, and it left the crowd laughing and feeling nostalgic. Eventually, Fallon would chime in and, of course, the theme of their monologues centered around political debates.
One of my personal favorite moments was when Jay Leno said, “The economy is so bad, the Kardashians are losing their a–,” then Fallon chimes in with, “The economy is so bad 50 Cent changed his name to Nickelback.”
