Walmart Has A 'Fat Girl Costumes' Section On Its Website

Jezebel caught Walmart selling women’s plus-size Halloween costumes under the label “Fat Girl Costumes.” One Jezebel reader was browsing costumes online, just like any normal American would do days before Halloween, when she was directed to the section for “fat girl costumes” on Walmart’s site. This section features most of the same outfits as the Women’s Plus-Size Adult section. The label has since been removed from the site. No word yet from Walmart apologizing for this huge error.

UPDATE: Walmart has taken to Twitter to apologize for this major error. The store also released a statement to E! News, “This never should have been on our site. It is unacceptable, and we apologize. We are working to remove it as soon as possible and ensure this never happens again.” Believe ’em? Let us know in the comments below.
