There are days when I wake up with a massive headache…even after indulging in seven hours of sleep. Or I have an inexplicable pain in my back and I’m like…hmmm, I don’t remember lifting anything heavy the day before.
And then my husband showed me this picture he took late one night. Yes, that is me sleeping and yes, that is a foot on my head…my daughter’s foot, which is huge now that I take a closer look at it. Call it a co-sleeping fail if you will.
Instead of getting upset, I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when I saw it. It reminded me of that hilarious Baby Sleep Positions diagram I posted a while back, and here was living proof of me suffering a night of “H” (AKA Hell).
Will it be the last time I get a roundhouse kick to the side of my head? Probably not. Does this mean that I’m going to kick her out of my bed? Nope, not just yet. My whole philosophy in life is that everything is temporary, so she’ll stay in my bed for a little while longer. Now if I wake up with a black eye one day, that’s another story.
