Was Dakota Johnson The Worst SNL Host Ever?

While many on Twitter are talking about how offensive SNL’s ISIS/Camry commercial sketch was this weekend, I am still shaking my head at how terrible Dakota Johnson was as host. It seemed like the 50 Shades of Grey star wasn’t even trying. Seriously–was she the worst SNL host in the show’s history? Let’s take a look:

1) She giggled at her own jokes in the monologue (no, that doesn’t count as “breaking,” Dakota, which the audience sometimes loves–it just comes off as amateurish):

2) Then she offended some with this pre-recorded ISIS sketch:

3) Then she mumbled and stumbled through countless sketches, including “Emergency Room,” “Cinderella,” and “Net Neutrality.” Aren’t SNL hosts supposed to be funny or at least entertaining? Has she ever taken an improv class in her life? She has 0 chemistry with her co-stars (sound familiar?):

4) In the live show, she got exactly zero laughs–her sole funny moment coming from another pre-recorded sketch, “Say What You Wanna Say,” which is undoubtedly due to the writing and not Dakota’s live-acting:

Kind of funny–but, again, this is Saturday Night LIVE–you need to be funny in the live sketches to be a good host.

Overall, she was just awful. Leave a comment below–was Dakota Johnson the worst SNL host of all time? Who is worse?
