There used to a time when sneakers weren’t considered a fashion statement, but those days are gone. Thanks to sneaker revolution started by Isabel Marant and her wedge sneakers, sky high heels aren’t the only way to show off your shoe game.

But we’ve got to let you in on something: wedge sneakers are over. They had their moment and it was fun while it lasted, but designers are moving on to slip-ons for fall and you should, too. Why? Well, not only are they more comfortable than wedge sneakers but slip-ons don’t have a shelf life. They’re popular now, but you’ll totally still be able to wear them next year.
