Back in January, we announced the exciting new collaboration idea Target came up with: instead of just partnering with high-end brands, like Missoni for Target and Jason Wu, the retail chain would start expanding, by teaming up with the coolest boutiques to bring really unique wares from across the country to Target. Almost four months later, the idea has come to fruition. The Shops at Target are finally here! Start raiding limited edition exclusives now. From bikinis a la The Webster boutique in Miami, printed housewares and funky home decor from Greenwich, Connecticut’s swanky Privet House, doggie treats from Boston’s Polka Dog Bakery, fun beauty products from Cos Bar and delicious salted caramel delights from San Francisco’s The Candy Store. If we’ve learned anything from the tons of collabs Target has pulled off in the past, you’d better get going–this stuff is NOT going to last.
Women’s Wear Daily just announced that Target will be teaming up with NYC’s Kirna Zabête fashion boutique as part of it’s second series of collaborations launching September 9. Stay tuned for more details to come. For more on past Target collaborations read Jason Wu for Target and Missoni for Target and shop our best bikinis guide.
