Hair twirling, playing, messing — we all do it. Maybe you find a strange sense of comfort in twirling your strands, maybe you’re trying to pump up the volume, or maybe your mane is just so damn soft you can’t help it! But here’s the hard truth, those observing you will not search for the reason behind this habit.
What will they see? One of three things: discomfort, insecurity, or flirtation. We don’t like that! Everyone should see you exactly as you want to be seen! It’s a tough dose to take, but it’s true. Curly-haired girls are often perceived as more confident because they’re taught at a young age that touching their hair will result in frizz.
For the good of your reputation (and the cleanliness of your hair, of course), keep your hands off!
