I have a Marc Jacobs bag that's been my sidekick throughout the winter. It's big enough for a day bag, but not too overbearing I can't throw it over my shoulder en route to cocktails – and it's made of durable, chic, and versatile burgundy leather. I love my bag. However, if there's one thing I could change, it would be the MJ logo embossed hardware on the sides and zipper. As much as I love Marc, I don't feel the need for everybody to know I am seeing him everyday. He's not cheap. Yet it's slim pickins out there for a gal who doesn't want a logo on her bag – which is why Bottega Veneta bags have encountered an upsurge in popularity recently. Apparently more women are ditching the label show and choosing quality goods for their craftmanship and beauty, as opposed to their designer. And Bottega bags, namely the basket-weave ones, are not marked on the outside with any name or logo, and thus are becoming the hot commodity in the land of fashionistas.
So SheFinds got to thinking – what brands are you buying lately? Is there a particular designer you flock to for specific items? If so, why? Let us know in the comments section, and we may just use your input for a future post!
