"I Loved Her First" Cufflinks: Whoa, Dad! When Did This Become A Competition?

Okay, I admit it: when I first saw these cufflinks I thought they were pretty cute…and then I realized that I would be beyond creeped out if I actually saw a dad wearing them at his daughter’s wedding.

He’s the dad – of course he loved her first. Duh. The fact that he feels the need to emblazon this message on his cufflinks implies (in my mind, at least) that there’s either some type of weird, Freudian competition going on (ew!) or that the groom better watch his back – overprotective Daddy might have a shotgun stashed at the reception hall in case of any hanky-panky.

Also, check out these totally not-creepy gifts for all the men in your bridal party and shop our guides to strapless wedding dresses and bridal hair accessories.
