Why I Let Buzz Lightyear and Woody Move Into My Home

I’ve always been wary of licensed kid furniture. They’re cute, but they don’t really last. And do I really want a bright blue Toy Story table and chair set staring back at me every day? I’m not so sure about that.

But ever since I had this one conversation with a friend, who complained about how he rarely spends time with his older kids because they’re too busy facebooking or texting in their rooms as soon as they get home, I’ve had a change of heart.

Delta Toy Story Table and Chair Set

I want my kids to be kids for as long as possible, and if it means living with Buzz Lightyear and Woody for a couple of years, I’m ready for the commitment. Plus, it saves my dining table from all the abuse, and gives them a special spot to play, write, read, snack, you name it.

I’m happy to report that this kids’ furniture set is well-made and affordable. And don’t be intimidated by all the parts in the box—it took less than 10 minutes to put together.

Price: $60
