You Don’t Have To Go To The Stores On Black Friday To Get The Best Deals

Gap Inc. Will Have A Reserve In-Store Feature
The “Reserve” program allows shoppers to select products online and have the items held in stores for purchase and pickup. It also determines where a shopper is and tells them the nearest store to find the item they want, in the color and size they want. But that’s not all, it also tells the shopper how likely it is they will get the item (if it’s almost out of stock). And the best part about all of this? Reserve will be available in all Gap Inc. stores: Old Navy, The Gap, Banana Republic, Athletha and Intermix. [WWD]
Shoefitr Will Make Online Shoe Shopping Easier Than Ever
This new software uses 3-D technology to scan the inside of shoes and give you measurements to fit the shoe to a foot. So you’re more likely to buy the right size. We don’t know how this works, but we know Nordtsrom is in on this, so buying shoes online just got a whole lot easier.
Flipboard Is Moving Into Shopping
The news-reading app is launching a new program that lets your browse and buy products from retailers including: Banana Republic, eBay, ModCloth, Fab, Levi’s and Birchbox. You can also create your own product catalogues with items from these brands. [Fashionista]
