Wish List: Princess and the Pea Play Set

As a real mom with a real budget, it’s hard to recommend something here on MomFinds that I consider completely overpriced, but sometimes I really wish I could. For instance, despite its steep price tag (and therefore my inability to actually ever purchase it), I find this Princess and the Pea play set so appealing.

Not only is it based on one of my favorite children’s stories, but I adore the homemade, old-fashioned quality of it. It reminds me of the toys I had when I was a little girl, and is therefore the kind of toy I’d love to fill my daughter’s room with. It’s one of those simple, quality toys that require imagination to fuel.

Too bad my daughter would almost certainly prefer the Fisher-Price Lights and Sounds house that she already has to such a sweet set. But hey, a mom can wish, right?

If you’re lucky enough to splurge on the Princess and the Pea play set for your little girl, be sure to let us know how she likes it in the comments.
