Worse Then The New Gap Logo: Pierre Hardy Shoes For The Gap Delayed
October 19, 2010
Ladies, we bring you more bad news from the Gap (it’s worse than the logo scandal): Pierre Hardy’s Fall 2010 collection of wedges and platforms has been delayed until October 28th. We were hoping the line would redeem them of the branding fiasco, since Hardy’s summer ’10 collection was such a hit, but alas, Gap remains in the doggie house. And the heartbreak continues – only the black wedges pictured below made it into production, three other styles were cut. Tsk- tsk, Gap.
These Pierre Hardy for Gap Leather Trim Peep Toe Wedges ($195) will only be available at the 5th Avenue Gap flagship in New York on October 28.
In spite of Manolo Blahnik’s protest against chunky shoes, we are fans of this slimming look and since you won’t be able to get your Pierre Hardy for Gap fix today as expected, we’ve brought you three more amazing options to round out your collection:
Get the original with these fierce Pierre Hardy Shoe Boots ($592) featuring a snakeskin print and shiny leather.
These Pierre Hardy-esque oxford Steve Madden Antonn Wedges ($129.95) would be great with boyfriend jeans and a cardigan.
These Chinese Laundry At Once suede wedge booties ($89) are a more conservative, but no less dramatic wedge option.
