The tie front top is the epitome of summer. Usually in a light linen or chambray material and sleeveless, these tops were most likely in your dresser drawer from childhood. You wore them to birthday parties, BBQs, and even the occasional field trip for school. You enjoyed tying the knot in the front of your top because you were still a rookie at tying your shoes.

Now, you’re far from the child you once were and the style and clothes that came with it. But that doesn’t mean you can’t rock the tie front top like you did when you were a kid. In fact, these tops aren’t a throwback at all. There’s plenty of grown-up styles in cool prints and fabrics that you can easily add to your wardrobe now. Check out our slideshow for to see which one you’ll be wearing from now and all through summer.
