You Should Only Be Stuffing Your Handbag With Plastic--And Nothing Else
November 3, 2015
There are a lot of misconceptions out there on how to properly store handbags. You probably spend a decent amount of money on handbags, so it’s only right to store them the correct way so that they last as long as they should. The way you store a handbag can alter its shape and color. One of the biggest handbag-storing myths is to stuff them with paper so they don’t lose their shape. While you should most definitely stuff your handbag, it shouldn’t be with paper.
According to blogger Jordana Paige, you should only stuff your handbag with plastic, and not paper, clothing or whatever else you can come up with. Using paper (or anything other than plastic) to stuff your handbag will attract “little creatures” and no one wants that. Jordana suggests using plastic air pouches, bubble wrap or plastic bags to stuff your handbags. Push the plastic down into the corners of your bag and stuff it until you get the right shape. Now your bag’s shape will be preserved instead of being flattened and wrinkled.
