Your Weekend DIY Project: A Studded Chambray Shirt For $40 Or Less

For the past three months, I’ve basically been living in the same 3 denim shirts. No matter what else I’m wearing–whether a leather skirt or my favorite printed jeans–the chambray shirt just always seem to work.

I was thinking of buying yet another one and came across this one at Urban Outfitters. I like it, but two problems. One, there are way too many studs. I want one that’s a little different from the 3 I already own, but all those studs will get old very quick. Two, there’s no way in hell I’m paying $184–or even the sale price of $99.99–for that shirt.

So what’s a chambray shirt-seeker to do? DIY it, baby! Click through the slideshow to see how I created my own studded chambray shirt for just $40.
