As I approach 30 (two week countdown, baby!), I’ve started getting very serious about what’s in my closet. Whereas I used to spend on just about every trend, I’m proud to say I’m learning to be more discerning. Why? Because I have a 5-year-old daughter and I want to leave her some seriously awesome things, not just a bunch of random stuff from H&M and Forever 21. I mean, what’s the point of having a daughter if you’ve got nothing to give her (not counting the gift of life, obvi)? With the exception of two amazing Coach legacy bags, my mom hasn’t really passed down anything I love and I never let her hear the end of it.
