"Always-on Display keeps portions of the screen and system processes active 24/7 to show the clock, notifications, and other glanceable information. Even though it uses low power, it still draws constant energy from the display panel, sensors, and background processes. Turning it off lets the screen stay fully asleep when not in use, reducing power consumption and extending overall battery life."
