Fans Think Kim Kardashian’s New Magazine Cover Looks ‘Photoshopped’ As They Call Out The ‘Airbrushing’: ‘Looks Like AI’

Kim Kardashian is back on the cover of Complex magazine for the third time, and fans are already noticing some editing blunders—whether intentional or not.

For the cover, the reality star wore a black Skims towel draped over her shoulders that partially hid her chest, leaving her cleavage visible, along with her toned abs. She paired it with skintight black Nike x Skims leggings that highlighted her hourglass figure.

Her long dark hair was parted in the center, with the wind blowing the ends to one side. Kim completed the look with her signature glam makeup featuring coral lips and added an athletic touch with fingerless gloves. See the cover here!

The cover feature focused on her business ventures and her partnership with Nike. According to the magazine, Nike believes “she can help turn around its lagging women’s business, and so does she.”

But fans online weren’t just upset about her being chosen despite not being an athlete—they also had strong opinions about the supposed photoshopping on the cover.

“Her ‘Airbrush-ness,’” said one user, making a jab at the cover’s “Her Airness” headline. “Whoever photoshopped her eyes has to go lol,” another commented. “It doesn’t even look like real pictures, wth?” one fan wrote. “I like Kim; she’s beautiful…but these photos look weird,” noted another. “The editing on these photos is crazy,” said one. “Nice Photoshop,” another added sarcastically. “This looks like AI Kim,” one user remarked. “How did you manage to change her face for this one?” another questioned.

Others criticized Nike for choosing Kim over an actual female athlete. “Brands still haven’t realized that even if people drool over her… it does not equate to a solid brand strategy or influence beyond social media talk. In other words, this isn’t really profitable, any more than just a short moment,” said one fan. Another wrote, “Y’all have real athletes, and you choose her?”

“If I were a girl, I wouldn’t buy any athletic clothes from some lady who isn’t even an athlete lol,” added one user.

“Not an athlete, doesn’t work out, her body isn’t real… But we believe she’ll help us send the right message to our female customers,” noted another.

For the cover interview, the mother of four opened up about a variety of topics, including North West’s budding music career, her own journey with the bar exam, and co-parenting with Kanye West.

North is reportedly preparing to release her debut album, “The Elementary School Dropout,” with her father serving as executive producer.

“She loves producing music and wanted to share it with the world and isn’t afraid if people will like it. She’s like her dad in that if she likes it, that’s enough for her, and she doesn’t really care about outside opinions,” Kardashian explained. “I’m proud of her for that, for releasing music, having fun with it, and doing it her own way.” The 12-year-old recently took the stage with her father during his concert in Mexico City.

Kim also reflected on her recent attempt at the California bar exam, acknowledging that failing doesn’t mark the end of her legal aspirations.

“Interestingly, I said going into it that I would never try again,” she admitted. “I called it a ‘one and done’ because of time and energy constraints. But the day after, I started studying again and haven’t stopped,” she continued. “One day, I’ll retake it. I don’t know when; I have to find the time. But I don’t think I could live with myself if I don’t try again. I can’t pass up the opportunity. I didn’t come this far just to give up.”
