Makeup after 40 doesn’t have to mean compromising on performance—and beauty blogger Jamie is proof. In her latest tutorial, Jamie shares an anti-aging eyeshadow hack that’s designed specifically for mature skin. Her go-to? Younique’s Liquid Shadows—a game-changing formula she swears by for women over 40.
“I’ve had over a decade to figure out what works for me, and I’m excited to share that with you,” Jamie says, kicking off Part 3 of her Liquid Shadow series. Her mission? Helping women embrace beauty and confidence well into their 40s and beyond.

So, what makes these shadows so special?
“They do not budge, they do not crease, they glide on effortlessly, and they do not flake,” Jamie explains.
A Soft, Youthful Look That Lifts the Eyes
In the video, Jamie applies a soft pink liquid shadow across her eyelids—a flattering and luminous shade that adds just the right touch of glow without emphasizing fine lines. But her real secret weapon is how she pairs it with bronzer in the crease—a smart trick for hooded or aging eyes.
“Bronzer on the eye warms up the eye and it detracts from dark circles,” she says. She blends the bronzer in her outer corner, crease, and just above, making sure it stays visible even when her eyes are open. She even uses it to softly define her lower lash line.
Then comes the star of the show: the liquid shadow. Jamie swipes it directly onto her lid and gently pats it in with her finger, letting the formula do the work for a smooth, creaseless finish.
A Multitasking Glow
Jamie doesn’t stop at eyes—she adds a touch of the same liquid shadow to her cheeks and lips for a monochromatic, dewy look that flatters all skin types.
“So there you have it—isn’t that so beautiful?” she says, smiling at the camera. And honestly, it is.
