Ariana & Ethan Were 'Sloppy' On Set
When Ariana and Ethan began filming Wicked in December 2022, Ariana was married to Dalton Gomez, whom she wed in May 2021. Allegedly, they separated in February 2023, and officially filed for divorce in September 2023. Ethan, at the time, was married to Lilly Jay, his high school sweetheart, and welcomed a son in August 2022. He filed for divorce from Lilly Jay at some point over the summer of 2023.
If you look closely, there appears to be some overlap between all these marriages and divorces and new relationships. An source from the Wicked set has now come forward and confirmed Ariana and Ethan aren't innocent in this situation. "They were sloppy on set," the source explained to The Daily Mail.
"They were seen being all over each other," the source continued. "They were seen making out at a pub in Hampstead, and they were all over each other at Michelle Yeoh's Oscar Party [in March 2023]."

Earlier this year, Ariana Grande opened up to The Hollywood Reporter to share her side of things. "It'll never be unpainful," she said, referencing the backlash she and Ethan received. "But also, I walk with the awareness that I'm an artist and this is a path that I've chosen, and so I just try to protect myself so that I never start to resent the art."
She also spoke to Vanity Fair about how the rumors have affected Ethan. "The most disappointing part was to see so many people believe the worst version of it," she said. "There couldn't be a less accurate depiction of a human being than the one that the tabloids spread about him. There is no one earth with a better heart, and that is something that no [expletive] tabloid can rewrite in real life."
