Michelle Yeoh reunited with Ariana Grande during the singer’s Eternal Sunshine tour stop in Brooklyn, sharing a sweet backstage moment that delighted fans. However, while many celebrated the Wicked co-stars seeing each other again, others once again expressed concern over Grande’s noticeable weight loss.

In the photo, the singer and actress wore a plunging beige vest paired with tailored black pants. She styled her hair in a sleek updo and kept her signature soft, doll-inspired makeup look. The sleeveless outfit gave fans a closer look at her arms and shoulders, prompting renewed discussion on social media.

Ariana Grande & Michelle Yeoh Reunite

Yeoh opted for a more relaxed ensemble, wearing embellished baggy jeans with a sheer short-sleeved top.

Sharing the moment on Instagram, Michelle wrote, "My babe Ari! You were absolutely incredible. Every second was pure magic. MMWW!! Thank you for an unforgettable night!! Love you @arianagrande."

While fans loved seeing the pair together again, many took to the comments to voice concern about Grande's appearance.

"We cannot normalize this. So many young girls look up to her and she is giving off the wrong message with her body image," one person wrote.

Another commented, "This is very concerning."

Others added, "Instead of happy feelings… I'm just so concerned about Ariana," "While they do look happy, this is heartbreaking. Ariana looks way too frail," "She looks ill. A genuine concern. I hope she is OK," "We don't know if she's sick or what's going on, but I hope she gets better," and "I hope Ariana gets healthy again soon."

At the same time, many fans defended the singer, urging others to respond with compassion rather than speculation.

"I know we are all concerned, but let's just spread some love to her," one supporter wrote. "Recovery doesn't happen overnight, and she may be getting help that will take a lot of time and patience. She just lost her Nonna last year, and that was probably hard for her. Making harsh comments won't do anything. I hope she's surrounded by love and knows how much she is loved."

Ariana Grande Addresses Body-shaming Comments

The "Thank U, Next" hitmaker first sparked widespread health and weight-related discussion during her Wicked promotional appearances in 2024 and 2025, where fans noted a visibly slimmer frame.

The 32-year-old subtly hinted at criticisms toward her body during her Wicked London press tour, when a journalist asked, "How do you cope with beauty standards and critics? Because this is something that is so overwhelming for women to always look perfect. How do you deal with that?"

She said, "I've been kind of doing this in front of the public and kind of been, you know, a specimen in a petri dish, really, since I was 16 or 17. I've heard every version of it, of what's wrong with me, and then you fix it, and then it's wrong for different reasons."

Ariana added that it's not just the media that focuses on her body; it can also happen in private settings with family: "Even just the simplest thing, your appearance, you know, you're young, and you're hearing all kinds of things; it's hard to protect yourself from that noise," adding that "even if you go to Thanksgiving dinner and someone's granny says, 'Oh, my God, you look skinnier; what happened?' or 'You look heavier; what happened?' It's like, that is something that is uncomfortable and horrible no matter where it's happening, no matter the scale it's happening on."
