"Just bought some on a whim... it's TERRIBLE," they wrote. "By far the worst product I've ever tried from TJ's. Tastes salty as hell, does not have that pepper taste whatsoever. Almost a fish sauce quality to it even though there isn't any in the ingredients. Stay far, far away and stick to the original Huy Fong stuff, my man."
Bread
Bread is another Trader Joe's staple that frequently receives mixed reviews online. While many shoppers love the store's bakery selection, others say the bread doesn't stay fresh for very long.
One Reddit user wrote, "Obviously excluding the challah, but literally everything in the bread aisle is crap. Dry, crumbly and often times stale, which is weird because it also molds so quickly! Tip: put a sheet of paper towel in your bread bag—that'll help delay the inevitable mold."

If you love pumpkin spice and overnight oats, you may like the pumpkin. I personally don't appreciate being punched in the face with pumpkin spice in the morning. But to each their own."
While the pumpkin variety clearly wasn't for everyone, the commenter suggested that shoppers looking for a milder flavor may prefer the Almond Butter Chia Overnight Oats instead.
Miso Ramen Soup

"I like pumpkin spice as much as the next guy. I was so excited to try this product, but I have never been so disappointed in a TJ's item. Doesn't taste like coffee at all, but rather like sour cinnamon ginger water. I tried this directly from the bottle, as a 1:1 ratio, and as a 1:2 ratio (as directed on the label), and it was undrinkable," they wrote.
Other shoppers agreed the flavor was stronger than expected but said they had better luck making a few adjustments. One commenter shared, "Bought a bottle today. It's really bitter, but tastes much better with some water and their Brown Sugar Oat Milk Creamer. I wouldn't buy it again though!"
