Users on social media platforms like X have been having a field day after seeing resurfaced and trending videos of the married couple traveling together. In one clip, Selena can be seen approaching a car before Benny, opening the door, and allowing Benny to go in before her.
In another clip, the couple is seen getting out of a car, and Benny exits the car first and walks ahead without his wife, nearly closing the door on her before she can exit. While to many people, these clips may not seem that bad, some people were concerned by the producer's "unchivalrous" behavior.

After the paparazzi footage of the couple was shared online, users on X and other sites began slamming Benny for his behavior, finding it rude that he would enter and exit a car before and apart from his partner while being surrounded by paparazzi.

The way the enter and exit events have especially started trending, likely due to the viral videos of the Wizards of Waverly Place star's ex, Justin Bieber, closing doors on his wife, Hailey Bieber, and walking in front of her.
