Aldi is a store famous for its ‘dupe’ versions of well-known products, from chips to frozen dinners to sweet treats. However, sometimes, shoppers find that the Aldi recipe is even better than the name brand, and have stuck to only buying the copycat versions.

The famous discount store has so many products to choose from that are knock-off versions of other name brands that it can sometimes be hard to figure out which ones are truly a great deal and practically replace the real thing. Well, if you’re an Aldi shopper or are interested in getting some of your favorite groceries for a cheaper price, we’ve compiled a list of six of the “best” Aldi dupes to choose from that many shoppers on Reddit have said are “better” than the original, name-brand versions. Read more about them below.

1. Clancy's Corn Chips

If you're a big fan of Fritos, the crunchy and super salty corn chips that go perfectly with a dip or crushed up on top of chili, but can't find them at the grocery store or need a cheaper alternative, Aldi shoppers love their version! Their chip brand, Clancy's, has their own corn chips that customers on Reddit have said taste exactly like regular Fritos.

One Reddit user called them "the best," and noted that they're even "saltier and crunchier" than name-brand Fritos.

2. Mama Cozzi's Frozen Pizza

Sometimes, when you're having a busy day or stressful week, you can't be bothered to cook up a big meal. Frozen pizza is what many busy parents and hard workers with long hours would call a savior. You don't have to cash out on getting one delivered; it just stays right in your freezer until you're ready. Some of today's most popular frozen pizza brands are DiGiorno and Red Baron, but if you're shopping at Aldi, customers say you should grab one of their Mama Cozzi's pizzas.

"Momma Cozzi's frozen pizza is a much better value than DiGiorno or Freschetta," wrote a shopper. "It's equal in taste at a little more than half the cost."

3. Burman's Real Mayonnaise

For many households, mayonnaise is a refrigerator staple, as it's one of the most popular sandwich condiments and sauce bases out there. However, there's a lot of consumer pressure to buy big-name brands of mayonnaise, but Aldi shoppers feel there's no need to, given how good Burman's version is. When you shop for a low-price version at Aldi, you're still getting a good product.

"I think their mayo is better than Hellman's," wrote a shopper on Reddit.

"It tastes just as good as Kraft," added another.

4. Choceur Peanut Butter Cups

One of the most indulgent and addictive chocolate-based sweets out there is the chocolate peanut butter cups. After all, chocolate and peanut butter are a heavenly combination. While Reese's peanut butter cups have reigned supreme in the candy world for years, there are numerous Aldi shoppers online who are sticking by their version, claiming it's all they'll buy these days.

"I don't consider the ALDI peanut butter cups copies because they're better," wrote an Aldi customer on Reddit.

"They're the best," added another. "I can't eat Reese's anymore!"

5. Appleton Farms Bacon

There are so many meat companies that produce high-quality bacon. If you're grocery shopping on a budget, you can rest easily knowing that you can pick up a pack of bacon that's just as good, if not better, than the big leading brands out in grocery stores. Customers have written that the bacon sold at Aldi is "much better than any other brand."

"Every time I don't get to Aldi and buy bacon somewhere else, I regret it," wrote a shopper.

"I am always singing the praises of Aldi bacon and have been so disappointed by other brands," wrote another.

6. Bremer Frozen Chicken Pot Pie

Like frozen pizza, enjoying a frozen comfort meal like a chicken pot pie is sometimes what gets you through an exhausting day. There are brands that are known for their frozen pot pies, like Marie Calendar's or Banquet, but Aldi shoppers have come to realize that their rendition via Bremer is a slept-on treat.

"Their frozen pot pies really surprised me," noted a shopper on Reddit. "To me and my grandkids, they are better than Banquet and any of the name brands."
