eggs for flat stomach

The first weight loss food we recommend is perfect for breakfast: eggs. In an interview with MyFitnessPal Blog, yoga instructor Maria Macsay said that eggs over veggie hash is a great morning meal idea. “I love this simple, yet nutritious, meal post-workout because it’s the perfect balance of protein, fiber, healthy fats and carbs, which supports repair of muscle tissue and replenishes the body’s energy supply,” Macsay said.

kale for flat stomach

Next, let’s think about lunch. Salads are a perfect solution for when you need to add lots of vegetables and protein to your diet. With that said, we recommend specific leafy greens before you reach for some ordinary romaine lettuce. According to Healthline, kale can help you to lose weight since it contains both protein and fiber, which are both necessary nutrients for weight loss.

grilled chicken for flat stomach

Another great ingredient to add to your kale salad for weight loss is grilled chicken. In an interview with Eat This, Not That! Optimum Nutrition athlete Kate Osman said that she likes to choose grilled chicken and vegetables as a post-workout meal to prevent bloating.

avocado for flat stomach

Of course we can’t forget about avocado. While you could add it to your delicious kale and grilled chicken salad, you could also add avocado to a variety of other recipes for practically any meal of the day. In an interview with the Washingtonian, personal trainer Ali Register recommended adding avocado to your breakfast toast along with a hardboiled egg on the side. “The healthy fats in the avocado help me feel satiated and get my brain going first thing in the morning,” Register said. “The eggs help me keep up with my high protein needs.”

almonds for flat stomach

If you need some food in a pinch and don’t have time to prep and cook a full meal then we’ve got some easy snack ideas for you. Both almonds and berries are perfect snacks for weight loss. According to Healthline, almonds and other nuts can slightly boost your metabolism. Similarly, Healthline says that berries are another healthy food you can eat since they’re high in fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidant polyphenols. We love the sound of that!
