Beyoncé was just named 2025’s highest-grossing touring artist globally and in North America, according to year-end touring charts released by Pollstar. Beyoncé toured her newest album, Cowboy Carter, from April 28th through July 26th and grossed more than $407M. While certainly an incredible feat, some fans are calling her out for being “greedy,” saying that she only achieved this title by overpricing her tickets. Keep reading for more information.

Beyoncé Announced As Highest-Grossing Artist

Beyoncé smashed a few different records with her Cowboy Carter Tour: in addition to being the highest-grossing touring artist of 2025, her tour has become the highest-grossing country tour ever and the fastest tour to gross $400M—just 32 shows. She's also become the first woman and first American with two $400M+ tours.

However, many fans are now looking at the numbers. The only way Beyoncé was able to achieve these highest-grossing records? By upping her ticket prices. While you might be able to snag a nosebleed ticket for $85, seats closer to the stage went for a few thousand dollars each.

Social Media Reactions

As the news from the report spread across social media, many fans expressed disapproval: a great success for Beyoncé sure, but only achieved through emptying the pockets of fans who have supported her for decades. "Another way to rewrite this headline is 2025's Greediest Touring Artist," one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

"Of course after those ridiculous prices," another fan tweeted.

"A weird way to celebrate pricing out some of your most loyal fans from seeing your concert," a third person said.

"All I'm hearing is greed," agreed another.

"How about a thank you to fans for making this at all possible?" one person asked.

"I hope she gives back to communities she toured in and everyone that worked on the tour like Taylor did," a final fan wrote.
