Donald Trump Speaks At The World Economic Forum With Bruised Hands
Over the last year, the president has done a whole lot of things that have landed him under the media's microscope, causing debate and more online. From his immigration policies to his social media posts, Americans will seemingly always have something Trump-related to talk about.
However, one of the most pressing topics has ended up being his health, more specifically, the state of his hands and skin. Towards the beginning of his second term in office, social media users became concerned and alert after seeing some bruising on his hands and swelling in his ankles. Later, his medical team and press staff reported he had Chronic Venous Insufficiency.
Although the president has had his bruises covered by makeup here and there, during his presentation for the Board of Peace at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, he had a large bruise on one of his hands, and in some official photos, many noticed his skin was also a more yellow shade than usual. The Internet Reacts To The President's Bruising On Social Media
Once the pictures from the forum were shared online, users got an up-close look at the large bruising on his hand, which led many of them to leave comments about the state of his health. For months, since his team stated his bruising was due to the venous insufficiency and excessive 'handshaking,' Americans and other social media users have speculated that there is something going on behind the scenes.
Some Instagram users speculated that the president had on "yellow face makeup," as others continued to write that it looked "orange," a comment he's heard many times before.
"Why didn't his makeup person cover it up?" asked a user, referring to the bruise.
Others had a lot to say about the "pink" and purple-looking bruise, speculating what else it could be from.
"Old people bruise easily," wrote one.
"He must take a lot of aspirin to bruise like this!" guessed another.
