When Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani first got together, they shocked everyone–and not just because of Shelton’s previous relationship with Miranda Lambert. The two seemed like total opposites, leaving many fans to wonder how their relationship would work.
However, since getting together nearly five years ago, the couple has proven that they are in it for the long haul–even purchasing a home together in May.
And recently, Shelton surprised fans by detailing what exactly the couple has in common.

According to Popsugar, Stefani is a horse girl through and through.
Shelton explained that the best gift he ever gave her was--you guessed it--a horse! He explained, "We got her horse, and I got myself a horse at the same time. Gwen, she loves riding and she loves horses."
If you're surprised, you aren't the only one.
The country singer continued, "It's actually so funny that people are so shocked by that, but if you can name me one girl on the planet that doesn't love horses or just think that they are beautiful."
The couple is spending quarantine at Shelton's ranch in Oklahoma along with Stefani's three kids Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, which makes it very likely that the "No Doubt" singer is spending her days enjoying ranch life, including spending time with her favorite gift--her horse.
It seems that Stefani is adjusting to country life in other ways too. The couple recently released an informal music video for the acoustic version of their country duet, "Nobody But You." In it, Stefani is wearing some fierce cowboy boots.
