Rumer Willis Posts An Emotional Father's Day Message For Bruce Willis On Instagram
On Sunday, June 15th, which was Father's Day, the eldest daughter of Bruce and Demi Moore wrote a lengthy Instagram post in honor of the holiday. It must have been a difficult day for Rumer and her siblings, as the Pulp Fiction actor has been battling dementia since 2022. The 36-year-old actress wrote about the challenges she's had in trying to communicate with her 70-year-old dad, hinting that his condition has only worsened over the last three years.
"I feel a deep ache in my chest to talk to you and tell you everything I'm doing and what's going on in my life," she wrote to her dad.
"To hug you and ask you about life and your stories and struggles and successes. I wish I [had] asked you more questions while you could still tell me about it all. But I know you wouldn't want me to be sad today, so I'll try just to be grateful, reminding myself how lucky I am that you're my dad."
She also wrote that she feels thankful that Bruce is "still with her" and can show him affection through lots of hugs and storytelling. At the end of her post, she added, "I will be grateful for every moment I have with you."
Her post contains several new and old photos of Bruce hugging Rumer and holding his granddaughter, Louetta.
