Carrie Underwood, who has been a signature blonde for years, recently stunned fans with her brown hair transformation, and it looks like they’re beginning to miss her old color.
The singer-songwriter recently shared a new picture of herself and an American Idol contestant backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, where she had her darker hair color in full effect. A few months ago, the singer opened up about dyeing her hair back to its natural color, and while some fans are still loving it, others are missing the days when she was a classic blonde. Carrie Underwood Shares A New Picture Of Her Brown Hair
Last month, the country singer performed a few shows at the iconic country music venue in Tennessee, the Grand Ole Opry, where other legends like Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, and more are members and have played famous shows. Given that the venue recently turned 100 years old, Carrie has been participating in some special anniversary shows, and at the end of October, she gave two separate performances for fans.
Backstage at one of her shows, she met up with a former American Idol season 23 contestant, Filo, who posed for a picture with her and even earned his own Instagram post on her feed. Carrie wore a pink dress as she snapped a photo with Flo, having her darker, brown hair on full display.
"Look who I ran into at the @opry," she wrote in her caption. "It's @filosings !!! So great to catch up!!! Can't wait to see all that God has in store for you! Such an amazing talent and a sweet soul."
Although fans were excited to see the competition show's judge meet up with a former contestant, many other fans were weighing in on her brown hair in the comments.

Fans React To Carrie's Dark Hair On Instagram
When the mom-of-two dyed her hair back to its more "natural," brown-blonde color, fans were shocked, as for most of her career, she's had Barbie blonde hair. Although the blonde became part of her signature look, she was excited about quite literally going back to her roots.
At first, she earned a lot of praise from her fans about the shade, as they cheered her on, and many felt the brown was more flattering than her blonde era. However, now that she's posted even more photos of the new color, some fans are beginning to debate it.
"Not digging the brown hair," commented a fan.
"You need to go back to being a blonde!" added another.
Another user wrote that the brown shade was "not good" and that the "Blown Away" singer was "better blonde."
Even if some of these comments were contradicted by others who "love" the new look, it has us wondering whether or not Carrie will take them into consideration someday and go back to her blonde locks.
