A Chick-fil-A Customer Shares A Picture Of Their Tiny Chicken Nuggets On Reddit
Chick-fil-A's whole motto is "eat more chicken," as there are no beef products on their menu whatsoever, which sets them apart from other fast food restaurants when they first opened. Therefore, their chicken products, from their fried chicken sandwiches to chicken nuggets, have long been famous. However, what were once high-quality menu items are seemingly beginning to slip, and customers are not happy about it.
One Reddit user went viral after sharing a picture of the Chick-fil-A fried nuggets they recently received in the popular thread titled "shrinkflation," which is dedicated to pointing out the way particular fast food and grocery store items have seemingly shrunk in size, while the prices either stay the same or get higher. The customer's picture portrayed a box of chicken nuggets that seemed extra small in size, which was unusual, as the nuggets are known for coming in fairly large bite-sized chunks.
"The nuggets are looking a little pathetic," wrote the user. "I get that this could be the end of a batch or something, but I've been noticing [this] more often."
Reddit Users React To The 'Pathetic' Chicken Nuggets And Threaten To Boycott Chick-fil-A
Once the pictures of the extra small nuggets went viral on Reddit, it had customers, both present and former, thinking about the food quality at specific Chick-fil-A locations, and for some, it's gotten so bad that they've decided not to go anymore.
In the comments section of the Reddit post, customers shared their latest frustrations with the famous chicken chain, and many of them seemed quite annoyed.
"At what point do they have to call it popcorn chicken instead of nuggets?" noted a user.
"It doesn't taste nearly as good," commented another.
"I'll never go again."
One user observed, "When I was a kid, those nuggets were big enough that you pretty much had to bite them in half."
"Now it looks like you could pop two or three at a time," they added.
"Chick-fil-A is just outright pathetic to begin with," wrote one user.
While the chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-A remain a beloved fast food menu item for many, it's no secret that there's a stark difference in size at numerous locations, angering their customers.
