Costco is renowned for its wide selection of affordable and delicious food options, but now it looks like the wholesale retailer’s fans have a new favorite seafood item – the frozen cracked pepper salmon from Honey Smoked Fish Co. Not only is this salmon a fraction of the price of similar options from other stores, but customers are raving about its “amazing” taste.
On May 22nd, one popular Costco-themed Instagram account creator (@costco_doesitagain) uploaded a photo of the item for their one million followers. They captioned it: “Honey smoked salmon!” with apt fish and honey emojis as customers in the comment section started commending its $15.99 price and taste.

According to Costco’s website, this “sustainably raised,” frozen “feast-sized fillet” fish is “fully cooked, Kosher, and gluten free.” One commenter wrote under the recent post: “I picked this up yesterday and it is so so good!” Another enthusiastically added: “I buy this every time I go to Costco!!”
Someone else agreed, writing: “love the flavor of this honey smoked salmon.” In another post from a similar IG page (@costco.love), fans also shared their love for the same brand’s frozen ‘original honey smoked salmon.’ The account owner wrote that it is their “favorite thing to eat for lunch or a light snack with some cheese and crackers.” (Sounds worth a try to us!)
