CVS And Walgreens Have Made Huge Announcements About Covid Vaccine Distribution–This Is Insane!

CVS and Walgreens are expecting to wrap up vaccinations at nursing homes by January 25th, the companies have announced.

Although vaccinations are behind target in the U.S., the pharmacy chains are due to complete their first phase of Covid vaccination this month.

In the United States just 4.8 million have received the first dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, while the government had previously predicted that 20 million people would be vaccinated by the end of last year.

CVS Health and Walgreens are administering the vaccine in long-term care facilities in 49 states.

Walgreens has partnered with 35,000 Long-term care facilities and CVS with 8,000.

CVS revealed that most of the residents and staff will be fully vaccinated within 3-4 weeks of their first visit.

CVS is also vaccinating residents and staff at assisted-living facilities.
