Demi Lovato Joins Ex Joe Jonas And The Jonas Brothers On Stage At Their MetLife Stadium Show
Last night, on August 10th, the "Confident" singer was a special guest for the Jonas Brothers concert at the famous football and concert venue in New Jersey. The three brothers, Joe, Nick, and Kevin, are New Jersey natives, so they pulled out some extra special surprises for their 'hometown' show.
When Demi stepped out on stage as one of those guests, audience members in the large stadium freaked out, as she, alongside the three famous brothers, had a little Camp Rock reunion and sang several popular songs from the famous kids' movie. They belted out their popular duets and more, including the hits "This Is Me" and "Wouldn't Change A Thing."
Joe, the group's lead singer, introduced the recently-married singer before she came out on stage, and after singing, they noted that they hadn't performed those songs together in "almost 10 years." It was a very wild moment for people who watched the two stars on the Disney Channel in the early and mid-2010s, as many fans know they had a brief romance while filming the Camp Rock films, and some believe a few of Demi's breakup songs are about Joe.
Fans React To Demi And Joe's Reunion On Social Media
Internet users, especially those who were kids watching the Disney Channel during each star's time there, freaked out once they heard about the special reunion, as before now, the two have seemingly kept their distance from each other, not having been seen or collaborating with one another in a while.
Additionally, it was a big deal because it was unclear as to whether or not the two exes had a good relationship or if they communicated at all. On Reddit, fans shared their surprise and expressed their joy in seeing the two icons together, happily reuniting on stage.
"I feel like this generation of Disney has really been healing relationships over the last little while," commented one user.
"As someone who was once deep in their lore, I used to pray for times like these," added another.
One user wrote that the "nostalgia" of seeing the famous brothers perform along with the Sonny With A Chance star was "so comforting" and made their "inner child so happy."
"So healing," added another. "I didn't think their friendship would ever come back after the drama with them."
"This is monumental," commented a user.
Now that this has happened, and there are other Disney throwback-related projects reportedly in the works, like whispers of a Hannah Montana reunion show, internet users have their fingers crossed that they can see more early 2000s and 2010s Disney stars reuniting again.
