Pope Francis’s funeral took place on April 26th and it was attended by leaders from all around the world, including Donald Trump. However, despite the historic occasion, the president didn’t appear to be taking it all that seriously, and appeared to actually nod off during the service.
As people around the world tuned in for the funeral by clicking on their television, they were met with the closed eyes and slightly open mouth of Donald Trump. His posture also appeared slumped, like he might’ve been being held up by his wife, Melania, who sat straight backed next to him.

Across Instagram and X, formerly Twitter, users are coming for the former reality star, calling him out not only for sleeping at the pope's funeral, but for being so hypocritical. "Sleepy Don!" one person wrote," and another added, "Donald Slump!"
"Funny the same things he criticized Joe for—like sleeping and slurring words–he has become!" said another.
"Embarrassing," said a fourth, "Sleepy Don needs to get woke!"
