Simon Cowell Looks Unrecognizable In New Instagram Reel
A week ago, on May 31st, the English media mogul posted an Instagram reel to promote the finale episode for the latest season of Britain's Got Talent. He wore a snappy suit and kept the camera nice and close, talking about how he was "really, really excited" to see what would go down and how he had "no clue" who was going to be the show's next champion.
"But that's good," he said with a wide-eyed expression on his face.
"Hope you enjoy the show. Thanks for watching everyone."
While his message was brief and positive, instead of focusing on his show, internet users thought he looked super different in his up-close video. Simon's face shape seems to have changed drastically, and it looks a bit more pulled back and taught. Additionally, his cheeks are round and slightly plump, indicating he could still be utilizing fillers to fill them in.
Internet Users Say Simon Looks 'Terrifying' After Allegedly Altering His Face On Social Media
This is not the first time the 65-year-old has been called out for having a different-looking face over the last handful of years, and he's even opened up in the past about having work done to it. During an interview with The Sun, he admitted to having used Botox and fillers to make himself look younger, stating that he "might have gone a bit too far."
"I saw a picture of me from 'before' the other day and didn't recognize it as me first of all," he told the publication.
Simon also revealed that his young son, Eric, had even noticed that he had looked different and that it upset him, so he did his best to undo all of it and said there was no more filler in his face. However, after he shared the BGT-related Instagram reel, internet users are convinced he's back on the cosmetic treatment bandwagon.
Although Simon turned off his IG comments, when other media outlets reposted his video, people had a lot to say about it.
"This is actually terrifying," wrote an Instagram user under a repost of his video.
"His surgeon did him dirty," added another.
"What a shame," commented a fan. "There was nothing wrong with his face."
"He looks like he didn't put his face on all the way," an internet user wrote.
An Instagram user in the comments noted that all of today's celebrities are "afraid to age."
Another user wrote, "He used to be so handsome."
It's been a while since the famous show host acknowledged his appearance and admitted to any further work he may have done, but the overall consensus from fans is that they want him to take things down a notch and embrace his natural features.
