It’s no secret that Khloé Kardashian has lost weight over the years, as not only has her appearance changed, but she’s also been very open about it. However, some of her latest comments about it have upset some internet users.

The reality star recently made comments on her podcast about the few superficial downsides of losing weight, citing that she was “way more confident” in her body before she shed a lot of pounds over the years. Her words were very vulnerable as she explained the difficulty behind people drawing attention to her weight loss. Still, some internet users found her comments to be very frustrating, given that she’s continued to alter her looks over the years. Read more about what she had to say below.

Khloé Kardashian Opens Up About Her Weight Loss And Says She Was 'Way More Confident' Before Slimming Down

On June 19th, the Kardashians icon interviewed a popular fitness influencer and content creator, Whitney Simmons, on her viral podcast, Khloé In Wonderland. They spoke about exercise, how Whitney fell in love with it and made peace with it, and, most notably, Khloé's weight loss.

Khloé spoke about how she was gently pushed to exercise by her parents because she was "on the chubbier side" as a kid, and would chose to play sports over go to the gym, but that when she got older, she discovered the importance of going to the gym to build strength and improve her mental health.

The 41-year-old then began opening up about how when she lost weight and became noticeably skinnier, people's perception of her changed, and she received a lot of attention that she was not comfortable with.

"The bigger I was, I was way more confident," revealed Khloé.

"I would have my days that I would feel low...I will say that when I started my fitness journey, and [getting] in shape, I felt such a need to keep this up."

The Good American founder explained that she became very insecure, thinking she could never "get fat again," or else she would receive extra negative attention and feedback from the public, citing that she "hated" how she became a more prominent figure in her famous family after getting slimmer.

The Internet Accuses Khloé Of Lying On Her Podcast On Social Media

Given that the new podcast episode was one of the more detailed and vulnerable interviews Khloé gave regarding her weight loss, clips of it were quickly shared to social media, where the moment she said she was more confident before slimming down went viral.

Internet users on platforms like Instagram commented with mixed reactions, but many of them called out the mom-of-two for saying that, accusing her of lying. They questioned why she would continue to alter her appearance with cosmetic treatments and seemingly more weight loss if she didn't like the attention she was getting from it.

"Then why are you trying so hard to be thin?" asked an Instagram user.

Another angry user wrote, "She's lying."

"I don't believe a word about her having more confidence when she was bigger," wrote a user. "Why did she undergo so many procedures then? Makes no sense."

One Instagram user accused Khloé of "always whining about her looks," and encouraged her to "count her blessings."

While many internet users praised her for being "real" during her podcast episode, they were drowned out by others who felt her comments were a bit hypocritical.
