Gisele Bündchen looked as chic as ever during her Tonight Show appearance last week while donning a flirty black wool Alaïa mini coat dress that featured a low-cut neckline and thigh-skimming hemline. Along with the standout piece that featured central button details and structured shoulders, the supermodel, 43, added sheer tights and black leather over-the-knee boots.

The mom of two appeared on the late night talk show to discuss her upcoming cookbook, Nourish. Prior to her interview, she participated in a game with host Jimmy Fallon and fellow guest Wayne Brady called True Confessions, in which she opened up about a near-death experience during a photoshoot at the turn of the millennium.

Bündchen revealed that she once did a photoshoot on a fake iceberg in Iceland and nearly fell into the ocean. Despite guessing that this was false, both Fallon, 49, and Brady, 51, were surprised to learn it was actually true, for the fragrance, Oxygene. The Victoria's Secret Angel said she narrowly avoided a potentially fatal accident and noted that she "would have been dead within seconds" if she had fallen into the icy water.

"It was for this fragrance called Oxygene. You got to Google it. You can see it actually. It's on the internet. It's called Oxygene was the name of the fragrance," the model said,  she said, referring to the 2000 campaign.

"So the whole thing I was supposed to be in this slip dress while everyone was like in a boat -- like, all the crew was in a boat with like huge puffer jackets and life vests," she added.

Bündchen, who completed her get-up with shiny golden hoop earrings, chatted with Fallon after the game and was asked about her cookbook motivation. "You know, I love food. Yes, I really enjoy food. And I had all the playdates were always at my house. So, all the kids, you know, the moms would come back and be like, 'How did you get my kid to eat vegetable?'" she said.

The Brazil native continued: "I'm like 'It's so easy, just, like, roast them.' She's like, 'How do you do that?' I start sharing recipes with moms and, you know, I have five sisters, so we always share recipes as well," she noted. The runway legend then recalled: "And then one time my sister said, like, 'Why don't you just make a book? And then I'm like, 'Oh, yeah.' And I love to share. I'm a Cancer, so I'm a big sharer."

"Anything that's good for me, that feels good, I want everyone to know and everyone to have it," she continued, "So that's kind of like my way of sharing nutritious, delicious, simple stuff, because I'm not a chef. I just want to eat good stuff."

When discussing the book's themes, Bündchen said the "big thing" about her new project is "meal planning," because "I think a lot of stuff that happens with moms, they get overwhelmed because they get home, and it's like, 'I'm starving, my kids are screaming,' you know?"

"You're just like, 'I want peace, please stop,' you know? So the thing is, if you have meal planning, it's amazing. My mom had six kids. She was a cashier in the bank. And she fed all of us, like, great food all the time because she prepped,'" the wellness mogul and style icon added.

Bündchen revealed that her mother scheduled and prepared all the meals for the upcoming week during weekends, and this inspired her. "We didn't have any food waste, because whatever it was, like, for example, we had churrasco on Sunday, which is like a barbecue Brazilian style. And then we would have arroz con carreteiro, which is like rice with meat on Mondays. So, there was never any food waste, and we always had food, because if you're prepping, you can have things planned ahead of time, so when you come home, you can make a meal in like, ten minutes," she shared.

For her stylish appearance, Bündchen wore her signature long blonde hair down, parted to the side and styled into effortless, loose waves. As for her makeup look, she highlighted her natural beauty with eyeliner, voluminous mascara, rosy blush and a glossy pink pout.
