Gisele Bündchen Opens Up About How She And Tom Brady Are Navigating Co-Parenting
The Brazilian supermodel, who is rumored to be dating Jiu Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, opened up about some of the challenges she is facing in regards to co-parenting her son and daughter, and confessed that she sometimes "gets pushback" from her kids when it comes to her and Brady's different parenting styles.
"Sometimes, I get pushback, especially because now they're in two different homes, and there are two different ways," she explained to the pub, adding, "But I feel like I owe it to my kids because of what my mom taught me."
Among those lessons is "the way you make your room, the way you organize and make your bed is the way you're going to do your life," the ageless beauty continued, adding that she is aware that she and her children have very different childhoods in terms of them being far more privileged than she was when she was growing up; but she wants to offer them the right tools to navigate life. "If you're not learning here and now, then when and with who?" she added.
Gisele Says She Doesn't 'Worry About What Other People Say' About Her
Elsewhere in the candid interview, Gisele said that she is aware that the public will have a lot of opinions about her since ending her 13-year marriage with the former NFL star – but she doesn't actually spend her time worrying about other people's opinions!
"I can't really worry about what other people say about me because what they say about me is none of my business. It's really their business that they're trying to project onto me," the Gaia Herbs ambassador said. "If I'm going to be affected by that, I'm never going to live my truth," she continued, adding: "When you're trying to be this person who tries to please and tries to be accepted and tries to get that from the outside world, you're never going to be truly who you are." Powerful words we can all learn from!
