Glossier You isn’t your average fragrance. It takes the unique approach of capturing YOUR natural scent instead of covering it up with artificial floral and fruity scents. It’s more like a “skin smell enhancer,” says Glosser. “Mostly, it smells like you: that familiar human-y note that makes up the body of what you’re smelling. Creamy, sparkling, clean, warm. That’s You,” according to the Glossier You description.

So, how does it smell like YOU? The fragrance is heavy on the base notes, which was “chosen and balanced to allow the juice to be both long-lasting and true to how it smells at the beginning, without changing as it dries down,” according to the Glossier website. The three base notes you can look out for are ambrette, which adds comfort and warmth, ambrox, a smooth, salty, animalistic note, and musk, which creates its long-lasting, addictive scent.
Its top notes are a mix of scents that “say ‘nice to meet you!’ without overpowering the base,” according to Glossier. This mixture includes iris root, which is earthy, green and woody, and pink pepper, which gives the fragrance its spicy and sparkling scent. But, the first ingredient is still YOU, making this the ultimate personal fragrance.
