Ivana, who knows Mr. Trump better than anyone told People, “He’s not a good loser. He doesn’t like to lose, so he’s going to fight and fight and fight.” Clearly she knows what she’s talking about as while many Republican lawmakers have advised Mr. Trump to step away from the presidency with grace, he has refused, insinuating instead that the election was rigged.
Despite Trump’s claims of not conceding the White House even after he lost the election, Ivana posits that once this chapter is closed, Mr. Trump may be done with politics for good. She says, “He’s going to go down to Palm Beach and play golf and live the normal life, I think. This is the best choice for what he can do.” Someone tell him that!
While it may be a tough loss to accept, ultimately, she believes he will come to his senses. “He has plenty of money, places to go and live in and enjoy his life.” Although the next two months are shaping up to be rife with political drama, it is comforting to hear that the president’s ex wife feels confident things can fade into a new normal once he eventually concedes.
Voter fraud is a serious allegation and while there has been no actual evidence to support this assertion, several leaders of the Republican party have reinforced Trump’s insistence on investigating such claims. It seems that this saga will likely carry on for as long as Mr. Trump can allow it to, but at least we know his ex wants things to be over just as badly as we do!
