The mom of three celebrated her 44th birthday with a belated rooftop party in New York City on Thursday night, posing in an elegant black strapless mini dress alongside a group of close friends.
Her look featured shimmering sequin detailing along the neckline, sheer black tights, and chic ankle-strap pumps. Ivanka wore her blonde hair down in a soft side part and completed the look with radiant, polished makeup.

The backlash comes just a week after the first daughter shared a lengthy social media post addressing diet-related health issues—at a time when millions of Americans are struggling with recent SNAP benefit cuts.
In the post she wrote, “Today, 129 million Americans have at least one major chronic disease, and roughly 60%, around 77 million people, have conditions that are diet-related, such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, or obesity. If food drives disease, food must be part of the cure, and if food is medicine, farmers are healthcare providers!”
However, she captioned her recent glamorous post, “A belated birthday celebration under the NYC lights with my favorite girls,” and social media quickly flooded the comments, calling out what many saw as her ongoing hypocrisy and tone-deaf content.

SNAP benefits are currently in limbo amid conflicting court rulings and the federal government shutdown, leaving both recipients and states uncertain. Some states had previously issued full benefits after a court decision, but the USDA has now instructed them to “immediately undo” those payments and provide only partial benefits following a Supreme Court administrative stay.
The situation remains unresolved, with an appeals court rejecting the Trump administration’s request to block the earlier order, while the USDA continues to resist issuing full benefits.
