It’s not every day Jeff Bezos lands a magazine cover, but his latest appearance on the cover of Fortune has the internet buzzing for more than just the interview. Instead, fans are fixated on his noticeably refreshed appearance, with many comparing him to Mr. Clean.

For the cover shoot, the Amazon founder posed in a fitted black short-sleeve T-shirt that highlighted his muscular arms. He flaunted his signature shaved head and neatly trimmed white beard, while his complexion appeared unusually smooth and polished, leading some social media users to speculate whether cosmetic treatments, heavy retouching, or AI editing played a role in the final image. Jeff Bezos Looks Unrecognizable In New Magazine Cover

The cover quickly went viral, with commenters sharing plenty of jokes and theories about his transformation.

"Jeff is peptide maxing so hard," one person wrote.

Another asked, "How much AI was used on this photo?"

Others focused on his physique, with one commenting, "Bro been hitting the free weights."

Some questioned whether he had undergone cosmetic procedures.

"Did he get neck filler?" one user asked.

Additional reactions included, "Why's he yellow?" "CEO of Botox or something," "Looks like Mr. Clean now," "Is this even a photograph when they had to apply all the AI filters afterwards?" and "He went to his wife's doctor."

Plastic Surgeon Weighs In

The speculation surrounding Bezos' appearance didn't stop with social media. Dr. Michael A. Persky, MD, FACS, a facial plastic surgeon, recently weighed in on the billionaire's new look in a video, sharing what cosmetic treatments he believes may be responsible.

Dr. Persky said he does not believe Bezos has undergone a facelift, explaining that someone as recognizable as the billionaire would likely have visible signs of surgery during the healing process.

"I personally don't think he's had a facelift," Dr. Persky said. "I haven't treated him, so I really don't know for sure, but for a personality such as himself who's in the public eye so much—and with nowhere to hide his incisions—we would know if he had a facelift."

While ruling out surgical intervention, the surgeon noted that Jeff's' facial features do appear noticeably different.

"His jaw is very well defined, his face is full, his forehead is flat," he observed.

Dr. Persky speculated that Bezos may have opted for a series of non-surgical cosmetic enhancements instead, particularly after marrying Lauren Sánchez, who has been open about investing in her appearance. "Perhaps from some of the visits to her doctor, he's had a few little treatments," he said.

According to Dr. Persky, Bezos' refreshed appearance could be the result of dermal fillers along the jawline, Botox in the forehead, and even Botox in the platysma muscles of the neck to create a tighter, more sculpted jawline.

He also suggested fillers may have been used throughout the face to restore volume. While his comments are purely speculative and not based on treating Bezos personally, the surgeon believes non-invasive cosmetic procedures—not a facelift—are the most likely explanation for the billionaire's noticeably smoother, sharper appearance.
